Cut Objects in Autocad

Now we will use objects from AutoCAD drawing file in another application, simply cut to the Clipboard object in AutoCAD and
then paste from the Clipboard into our files. Cut the selected object from the image and save it on the Clipboard.

Steps must we do to cut the object into the Clipboard is:

Select the object that we want to cut.
Then from the Edit menu, select Cut. we also can do by pressing CTRL + X.
Objects that are available to be inserted into other Windows applications

  • Draw polyline

Polyline is a set of line segments are connected as a single object.
We can make straight-line segments, arc segments, or a combination of both.
When we draw the polyline arc segment, the first point of the arc is the endpoint of the previous segment.
We can determine the angle, center point, direction, or the radius of the arc. We can also finish the arc by specifying the second point and endpoint.

To draw a polyline with straight segments
Steps we have to do is:
On the Draw menu, click the polyline.
Determine the first point of the polyline.
Determine the end point of the first polyline segment.
Continue to determine the required segment endpoint.
Press ENTER to end, or press c to close the polyline.
To start a new polyline at the endpoint of the last polyline drawn, start PLINE command again and press ENTER at the Specify Start Point prompt

  • extend the object

By using the menu extend, we can extend the object to meet the edge of another object.
This means we can create objects and then adjusts to fit exactly between other objects.
we can extend to the edge of the projected object.
If we do not set a limit and press ENTER at the Select Objects prompt, all objects become potential boundary. This is called implied selection.

To select the geometry in the block as a boundary, we must use a single, crossing, fence, or implied boundaries.

    Extend Objects
we can extend objects so that they end precisely at the edge of the limits prescribed by other objects.
In this example, we will expand / extend the line right to the edge of the boundary line.

  • circle Three Points

We can make a circle with the starting point of the center or one of the three points, or we can choose the objects that intersect the circle.
    Draw toolbar:
    Draw menu: Circle
    Command line: circle
Determine the center point of circle or [3P (Three Points) / 2P (Two Points) / TTR (tan tan radius)]: Specify a point or enter an option: TTR
    TTR (Tangent, Tangent, Radius)
Drawing a circle with specified radius tangent to two objects.
Determine the point on the object first tangent circle: Select a circle, arc, or line
Determine the point on the object of the second tangent circle: Select a circle, arc, or line

  • Scale factor

In AutoCAD there is a menu that really helped us in accelerating the design process of Scale
With the scale we can make objects larger or smaller.
we can make the scale by setting the base point and length, which is used as a scale factor based on the unit image,
or by entering a scale factor. we can also determine current and long-term new to the object.
Scale factor greater than 1 is to enlarge the object.
Scale factor is less than 1 shrink the object.
we also can make a reference scale. Scaling by reference using the existing measurements as the basis for a new size.
To scale with reference, specify the length measurement and then the new desired size. For example,
use this option when the unit of the original image needs to be changed. Select all objects in the picture.
Then use the references to select two points and determine the distance intended. All the objects in this picture according to scale.
